Cimarron Cycle Works Announces Sponsorship of Brady Bacon Racing
CIMARRON, New Mexico (April 6, 2017)- Colin and Erin Tawney, owners of Cimarron Cycle Works, are pleased to announce their association with Brady Bacon Racing for the 2018 AMSOIL USAC sprint car season.
Cimarron Cycle Works, located in Cimarron, New Mexico is an internet-based business specializing in used OEM, New Old Stock (NOS), and exacting quality reproduction parts for vintage Harley-Davidson motorcycles produced from 1915-1984. Cimarron Cycle Works serves customers all over the United States and Canada, as well as over 40 foreign countries around the world.
“I grew up watching Brady’s grandfather, Ted, race at Tulsa Speedway on Saturday nights. When I raced Micro Midgets, I raced with Brady’s dad, Leon, and we became friends. Brady was born a few days before my older daughter and I’ve followed Brady’s career since he started in quarter midgets.”
“When I heard Brady’s sprint car ride for 2018 had ceased operations and he was going to run his own car, I felt we needed to get involved. I love wingless racing, and I believe in what Brady is doing. I’m also aware many of our customers may follow racing and I’m certain there are many race fans out there who either may already have a vintage Harley or might someday or they know someone who does own one. This is truly a great opportunity for us. There’s also a certain amount of cross-over into the vintage car or hot rod/rat rod crowd as H-D used some automotive components over the years like lighting from GM and electrical parts from Delco-Remy and those are some of the parts we stock.”
The primary sales streams for Cimarron Cycle Works are through eBay under “blarneyrubble104”, their own web site: www.cimarroncycleworks.com, and via phone in orders at 575-425-0170.
Cimarron Cycle Works specializes in hard-to-find detail items like lighting, correct nuts and bolts, oil and fuel lines, fuel tank decals, leather seats, WWII-era military equipment for motorcycles, fuel tanks, fenders, engine, transmission, era-correct wiring harnesses, shifter, clutch, brake parts, pretty much anything an enthusiast might need to restore or keep their vintage motorcycle running.
The Tawneys are also owners of Blue Dragonfly Inn Bed & Breakfast and Blü Dragonfly Brewing, also located in Cimarron.
